I've long deliberated about creating something like this to post my ideas and share resources I've acquired, but I was inspired to do so after reading to Austin Kleon's book, Show Your Work. I am truly passionate that sacred music has the capacity to change our spiritual lives for the better, and I hope the posts and resources made available by "showing my work" can certainly do so.

The title of this website, Gloria Deo, is Latin for "Glory to God" and was chosen for two reasons:

1. To serve as a reminder to myself that everything I do on this website is for nothing more than the praise and glory of God the Father.

2. While Sacred Music will be the primary focus of this website, I want to have the freedom to share anything I would like. A website name referencing Sacred Music would have tied me down to one genre.

Anything that you read and find wise or helpful on this website should be credited to the inspiration of God Almighty and the countless resources I’ve drawn upon. If you read anything foolish or hypocritical, assume it's my error and please let me know.
